Initially it started as a "cold & flu" but very quickly it developed into a "cold & flu with cough", why?

Detail

It is common to experience nasal congestion with "cold & flu", and when excessive mucus is produced nasally it can accumulate in the throat or back of the nose, resulting in post-nasal drip and causing you to cough. The symptoms may be more acute when you are lying down, causing persistent coughing. The best solution is to treat the cold & flu symptoms as early as possible. Otherwise, the symptoms may aggravate and takes longer to resolve. Coltalin and Extra Fast Coltalin Cold & Flu formula contains ingredient that helps with relieving body aches/pains, drying up the mucus and clearing the nose, which also stops runny nose and prevents post nasal drip and cough.

Have you changed the formulation of Coltalin Cold & Flu series? It doesn’t appear to be as effective as it used to be, as I need have to take the medication for 2 days instead of 2 tablets to recover.

Detail

The length of time it takes to recover from a cold or flu can be influenced by several factors, such as the condition of your immune system and the type of virus infecting your body.  So if you find that your medication appears to be less effective, it is not due to a change in formulation but contributing factors that may be causing a longer period of time to recover. Our products are still manufactured with the same trusted and proven effective formulation.
